Volunteer Opportunities at the Church

November 29 (day after Thanksgiving) after the 9:30am Mass - removing/recycling old Hymnals and replacing with new Hymnals in St. Patrick's Church.

December 7 at 9am - Stuffing/labeling envelopes in the 1/3 Hall - will likely be a 4 hour day - please bring snacks and entertainment.

Every student is required to perform community service hours and church service hours each year. It would be best to work on these hours through the summer so you don't have to worry about them through the school year. Remember you may not "double dip" You can only receive hours for our program if you are not also having high school hours signed off.

Please call the Church office at 209-383-3924 to inquire about opportunities for office work or liturgical ministry opportunities. You can also call Jesse at 209-769-8504 to volunteer to clean the church. Please call Jesse at least one day in advance of when you would like to assist. When you do volunteer for any service opportunity, please be sure to be on time and call if anything comes up that will not allow you to help. We fully rely on our volunteers and need to make new plans when help does not arrive as planned.

Please follow the first link below for the hours form to be filled out and returned as you earn hours. See the other 2 links below for service opportunities this summer and into the fall. You MUST sign up for service.

Each student must prayerfully consider and select a Sponsor. This individual will help lead the student into their Confirmation and stand by the student as they receive the Sacrament and live by the student in faith moving forward. Sponsors MUST have received their Sacraments and have proof of certificates from the church. If the Sponsor is married, they must be married in the church. This person must be living their faith in order to nurture the student in a faith-filled life.
